As we approach the end of another year, I find myself reflecting on the challenges, the triumphs, and the moments that have shaped our lives. The holiday season is a time of joy, togetherness, and gratitude, but for many, it is also a season of healing and reflection. As I always say, “Heal Women, Heal the World,” and that truth resonates more deeply as we close this chapter and look forward to a new one.
A Year of Healing and Resilience
This year, I have witnessed incredible resilience, not only in the people I care for but in families, communities, and even within my own life. For those navigating health challenges, career transitions, or personal loss, your strength has been an inspiration. As a healthcare provider and Women’s Health Activist, I want to honor the courage it takes to prioritize health, ask for help, and hold onto hope even in difficult moments.
This year, I faced one of my greatest personal battles—breast cancer. Through it all, I have been overwhelmed by the support, love, and encouragement shown to me. From my family to my friends, to the incredible women I serve, your love has been a source of strength. To my husband Jason, who has been my constant support and the best partner I could ever ask for—thank you for walking beside me every step of the way. To my children, Rayna and Jayson, my incredible co-authors of the Colorful Heroes coloring book—you inspire me every day with your creativity, love, and light.
And to my dear sister Angela, who I know is looking down on me with pride and love, I carry your memory in my heart as a guiding light. Your presence has been felt in every moment of this year’s journey.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to my sister-friends and supporters:
- My Mother, Vera White, for being my inspiration, motivation, biggest supporter, and my best friend.
- Chelsea Null and Sheila Andino, who have been sisters, friends, and unwavering supporters through every step of my journey.
- My beloved Father, Mother-in-love, Father-in-love, and Sister-in-love, for the love and care you’ve shown me.
- My doctors, nurses, and medical team, whose expertise and compassion have carried me through this fight.
- My childhood girlfriends, The Flossy Posse, for standing by me as sisters for life.
To everyone who has supported me, shown love, sent prayers, or simply offered a kind word—thank you. Your love and kindness have made all the difference, and I carry your support with me into the new year.
The Power of Community: Heal Women, Heal the World Fest! and the 1MM Movement
This year marked the incredible success of the Heal Women, Heal the World Fest!, a celebration of empowerment, unity, and healing. The festival brought women together to share stories, uplift one another, and create a ripple effect of transformation. It was a powerful reminder of the strength we have when we stand together and the impact we can make as a collective force.
Alongside this, the 1MM Movement (One Million Women Movement) took root, aiming to empower women to prioritize their health, well-being, and purpose. To see so many women step into their power and support one another has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and more resilient world.
Embracing Hope for the Future
This season brings with it an opportunity to reset. Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or spending quiet moments in reflection, know that there is hope for brighter days. I encourage you to:
- Reflect: Celebrate the victories, big and small, and acknowledge the areas where growth is needed.
- Reconnect: With loved ones, with yourself, and with the values that anchor you.
- Restore: Prioritize your health and well-being. Healing is not selfish; it’s essential.
Let this season be a time to release what no longer serves you and step boldly into the new year with faith, intention, and a commitment to living fully.
Looking Ahead
As we step into a new year, let us remember that healing—of the body, mind, and spirit—is a journey, not a destination. I am excited to share that I am in the process of starting my new non-profit, Kidz Kick Cancer, dedicated to empowering children to fight cancer with courage, hope, and preventative care. This mission is close to my heart, and I cannot wait to see it transform lives in the year ahead.
I invite you to set intentions that inspire you, care for yourself with the same love you give to others, and join me as we continue to empower one another.
To those facing challenges, I see you, I honor you, and I believe in your strength.
Here’s to a new year filled with healing, hope, and transformation. Together, we can heal the world, one step at a time.
With Gratitude and Love,
Dr. Robyn White, DNP | “Heal Women, Heal the World!”
